How to Avoid Dental Emergencies
It's possible to avoid many dental emergencies by taking a few simple steps to protect your oral health.
- Stay up-to-date with dental exams and teeth cleanings. When we see you regularly, we keep an eye on your oral health, check the condition of existing dental work, and provide prompt treatment as needed.
- Brush at least twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and floss once. Routine dental appointments are crucial, but your at-home oral hygiene is equally important.
- Ask us about dental sealants and fluoride that help strengthen teeth and protect them from cavities. ages
- Invest in a custom sports mouthguard. Many dental injuries—such as broken or knocked-out teeth—occur during sports activities. We strongly recommend a custom sports mouthguard that is comfortable and sturdy enough to protect your teeth from dental injury.
