Dahle Family Dentistry
A Great Dentist

Meet the Team at Dahle Family Dentistry

At Dahle Family Dentistry, our amazing group of dedicated professionals care deeply about our patients. We support each other and work toward the common goal of ensuring you have a comfortable, enjoyable experience.

We enjoy dentistry because we love helping others improve their lives by improving oral health. We are excited and enthusiastic about our work and ensuring our patients feel happy and confident about their smiles.

We are highly skilled and proficient at our jobs but always have time to listen to a story and share a joke or laugh. If you're nervous or anxious, we will treat you with empathy and compassion and help you feel positive and confident about dental visits.

Along with Dr. Daniel Dahle, our skilled hygienists, dental assistants, and front office team look forward to welcoming you and your family to Dahle Family Dentistry in the Treasure Valley.

We welcome patients from Oregon and Idaho, including our neighbors in Fruitland, Payette, Vale, Nyssa, Weiser, New Plymouth, and Parma.

Dr. Eric Dahle

Dr. Eric Dahle attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate studies. With a lifelong goal to become a dentist, he attended Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1989 as the top student in his class with the highest honors.

Dr. Dahle’s current responsibilities include practice oversight and management, and patient treatment consultations. He enjoys helping patients achieve their hopes and goals for oral health, whether it’s pain relief or better function. He appreciates the longevity of staff members, which creates an unspoken understanding as a patient care team.

In his free time, Dr. Dahle enjoys hiking, basketball, chess, and history. As part of his goal to work with and serve the next generation in our community, he developed a 322-acre Christian Youth Camp on Catherine Creek near Union, Oregon.

Dr. Daniel Dahle

Dr. Daniel Dahle loves creating long-lasting family relationships with our patients, helping them overcome dental anxiety, watching them improve their oral health, and seeing the change in their self-confidence. He values our amazing staff and enjoys learning how to work together better, improving skills, and, of course, making punny dad jokes.

Dr. Daniel Dahle is happy to return to the Treasure Valley area with a positive, upbeat attitude, excellent patient skills, Spanish proficiency, and a love of dentistry!

For his undergraduate studies, Dr. Daniel attended Brigham Young University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Developmental Biology and a minor in Latin American Studies. He attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in Columbus, Ohio, where he developed clinical excellence in general dentistry and graduated magna cum laude.

Dr. Daniel grew up visiting the dental office with his dad, and he developed an interest in the field when he did a report on dentistry and fell in love with it. He also had braces that improved his smile, and he wants to help others love their own smiles. Dr. Daniel also served a church mission in Peru, where he learned to speak Spanish and saw many people with poor oral hygiene who had little or no access to dental care. He wanted to help remedy that, and he also loves teeth!

In his free time, Dr. Daniel loves playing board games like Settlers of Catan, Sagrada, and Telestrations. He also enjoys playing basketball, watching college football and basketball, and reading and listening to books by Brandon Sanderson. One of his unique hobbies is watching videos on YouTube and learning about new technologies.

He treasures his close relationships with friends and family, especially his wife and children.

Janette

Office Manager & Registered Dental Hygienist

Janette always loved visiting the dentist as a child. She started her dental career in high school, training as a sterilization tech and working during the summers. Janette attended Brigham Young University and, later, Utah Valley University for her dental hygiene training. She has been working in dentistry since 2015 when she started at Dahle Family Dentistry as a licensed hygienist.

Janette loves dentistry because she enjoys watching patients have the light-bulb moment of "I understand why I am getting cavities or why I have gum disease!" and providing them with the education and tools to manage their oral health at home. She finds it rewarding to see her patients at subsequent visits and celebrate the improvements in their oral health.

Janette enjoys working with a great team dedicated to building their skills and learning to use technology and resources to make patient care more effective and easier. She loves seeing patients year after year, catching up with their lives, watching their families grow, and seeing the positive impact that consistent, quality dental work has over a lifetime.

When she's not helping patients, Janette values her time with her family on evenings and weekends. She is an avid reader and averages over 100 books and audiobooks annually. She likes backcountry hiking, especially when enjoying our beautiful mountain lakes. Her family also enjoys going whitewater rafting several times each summer.

Her most unique hobby is making music by singing, playing the piano (sometimes the organ), and the flute—but not all three at the same time!

Heather L.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Heather chose a career in dentistry because she loved the idea of a rewarding career that allowed her plenty of time to devote to her family. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Idaho State University in 1994 and joined Dahle Family Dentistry in 1999.

Heather’s priority is helping people gain and maintain excellent oral health. She focuses on complete and thorough patient care with an emphasis on relationship-building. Heather feels deeply that if she can educate patients on the hows and whys of dental diseases, they will understand the importance of caring for their mouths and bodies.

One of the things Heather values most about her career in dentistry has been getting to know our wonderful patients and the many lifelong friends she has made.

Heather is devoted to her husband and two adult children, and together they like to camp, snowmobile, hike, surf, travel, and snow ski. She also enjoys running her photography business, reading audiobooks, and gardening.

A fun fact about Heather that people may not know is that she has been to over 60 hot springs and has skied at every ski resort in Idaho.

Holli

Registered Dental Hygienist

Holli attended the American Institute of Health Technologies, now Carrington College, in Boise, Idaho. She started working at Dahle Family Dentistry right out of dental hygiene school in 2002.

Holli became interested in the dental field while her mom worked for Dr. Dahle when Holli was a kid. Who knew years later, she would also work for Dr. Dahle! She took a small break when she moved out of the area so her husband could finish his schooling. When they moved back, Holli joined the Dahle Family Dentistry team again.

Holli’s responsibilities include seeing patients for hygiene appointments, taking radiographs, placing sealants, and administering anesthetics. She loves the relationships she has built with her patients over the years and enjoys catching up with them at each visit.

Holli loves to exercise, run, ride her mountain bike, and ski in her free time. A fun fact that people might not know is that Holli lived in Dominica in the West Indies with her family for two years!

Heather C.

Expanded Function Dental Assistant & Receptionist

Heather graduated from Treasure Valley Community College in 1997. In 2006, she received her Oregon Radiology License and her Oregon Expanded Function License in 2008. Heather has worked as a dental assistant for 30 years and joined Dr. Dahle's team in 2006.

Heather's interest in working in the dental field came from her father, who was a denturist. After watching him create beautiful, artistic dentures and partials, she knew she wanted to work as a dental assistant.

Heather's role as an assistant includes assisting the doctor with procedures, taking x-rays, sterilizing rooms and instruments, and making night guards. As a receptionist, she welcomes patients, answers the phone, makes appointments, and checks out patients. Her favorite thing about working at Dahle Family Dentistry is the teamwork with co-workers.

The most rewarding aspect of the job for Heather is getting to know people she may have never met outside of our dental office. She loves helping patients feel comfortable with their dental experience and helping them feel confident in their smiles again.

In her free time, Heather enjoys camping, riding her motorcycle, going on Razor (side-by-side) rides, and boating. Her most unique hobby is geocaching, and the one thing others may not know about her is that she loves black licorice!

Karli

Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Karli’s passion for dentistry was sparked by her great experiences growing up with her family dentist and orthodontist. She graduated from ATS Dental Assistant School in 2016 and joined Dahle Family Dentistry. She holds certifications from the state of Oregon in Radiology Proficiency and Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Karli values the guidance she’s received from her coworkers, who have over 20 years of dental assisting experience!

Some of Karli’s responsibilities include providing patients with high-quality care by performing a variety of office, laboratory, and patient care duties. What she enjoys most about working with patients is educating them on their oral health and fabricating unique case-by-case dental appliances in the lab. She loves working at our practice because she has the best coworkers, many of whom are her best friends.

Karli enjoys doing anything outdoors, including barbecuing, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and staying at her cabin. She also loves traveling to Alaska to visit her family.

One fun fact that many people don’t know is that she grew up in North Pole, Alaska!

Brenda

Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Brenda's interest in dentistry started in high school. She was fortunate enough to enter a great program at Assist to Succeed in Boise, Idaho, which was a stepping stone to where she is today. In 2020, Brenda joined the team at Dahle Family Dentistry.

Brenda assists Dr. Dahle with our patients' care and needs, including educating them on their oral health and helping them understand procedures in easy-to-comprehend terms. She is also bilingual and helps our dental team communicate clearly with our Spanish-speaking patients.

Brenda finds it very rewarding to get to know our patients personally while helping them understand their dental needs. She loves working at Dahle Family Dentistry with helpful coworkers and a great team where no one is left behind.

Besides spending time with my family and friends, Brenda loves exploring new places with her fianceĢ and her dog, Noodles.

A fun fact about Brenda is that she loves the season from October to December because the holidays remind her how grateful and blessed she is.

Kelsey

Front Office

Kelsey has worked in customer service and office management since 2004 and joined Dahle Family Dentistry in 2019. She works in our front office and handles administrative details to ensure our systems run smoothly. She is usually the first and the last face you see at our office when she greets and checks you in, then checks you out at the end of your visit.

Kelsey also verifies insurance, answers phones, updates patient paperwork, handles social media, and sends monthly recalls and appointment reminders. She is here to help with any questions regarding your treatment; if she can't answer them, she will find someone who can!

The most satisfying part of Kelsey's job is our wonderful patients. She understands most people don't like going to the dentist and does everything to help patients feel good about choosing us as their dental home. Kelsey loves that our team communicates well with one another and functions like a family.

Kelsey enjoys camping and getting out in nature to just "shut off" the world sometimes. She also rides horses, loves cooking, and enjoys reading a good book. One of her unique interests is fostering and rehabilitating animals whenever she can.

A fun thing people may not know about Kelsey is that she loves Christmas!

Mercedes

Dental Assistant

Mercedes joined Dahle Family Dentistry in 2021. She chose the dental field for the opportunity to expand her knowledge and be in a position to grow in a career. She appreciates working with a supportive and uplifting team who is happy to guide her in her career journey.

Mercedes's duties include instrument and operatory turnover and answering and redirecting patient phone calls. Additionally, she excels at identifying needs around the office and taking care of many of the day-to-day aspects that are easy to overlook but make a big difference! She is also training as a dental assistant.

Mercedes loves fishing, camping with her family, and cooking homemade Mexican food in her free time. A little-known fact about Mercedes is that she loves to play basketball.

A healthy smile is just a click away!
"To me and my family they are angels."

Eric is, in one word, Amazing. I was told to see him because I didn't have insurance and was struggling with my daughter battling cancer for a second time when a cavity became unbearable. He saw me immediately and heard my situation, after the second visit he offered to make me a no charge patient to fix my mouth to help out with what our family is going through. Not only is this a wonderful dentist office with genuine staff that truly cars, to me and my family they are angels.
